The University of Manchester
Faculty and School scholarships
المنح الدراسية من جامعة مانشستر

Faculties and Schools across the University have developed a range of subject-specific schemes to support their students.

Most of these scholarships are available in addition to any University scholarships, up to a maximum value of £3,000.

Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences and Faculty of Life Sciences

Eliahou Dangoor Scholarships from 2010

The award: £1,000 for the first year of undergraduate study only

Who is eligible: Up to 40 Eliahou Dangoor Scholarships for first-year home undergraduates. These awards target low-income students in specified discipline areas in Science, Technology, Mathematics and Engineering. These awards commence in the academic year 2010-11. Further information about eligible programmes will be provided in 2010.

The awards have been made available through a generous donation from Dr Naim Dangoor and are additional to any government or university awards students might receive. It is hoped that this ambitious scheme will encourage more young people to consider studying STEM subjects at one of the country's leading universities.
